Tressler is excited to welcome Jeyser “Jey” Claudio to our Government Practice Group. Jey is an associate in our Bolingbrook office. He focuses his practice on representing cities, villages, park districts, school districts and other public entities in multiple legal matters including day-to-day operations, contract review and negotiation, real estate and land use matters.
“I am very excited to join Tressler’s Local Government Practice Group and collaborate with a group of experienced attorneys to contribute to the success of the Group and the Firm,” said Jeyser Claudio.
Prior to joining Tressler, Jey was an associate at a full-service law firm working in the insurance defense and general business law groups. Jey represented insurance companies and insureds in numerous insurance coverage matters. Jey also represented corporations in complex commercial litigation.
Jey previously worked as in-house counsel for a prominent real estate development and management corporation that focused on mixed-use housing and commercial real estate. As in-house counsel, Jey reviewed and negotiated commercial and real estate contracts to mitigate the corporation’s risk. Jey also advised the corporation on landlord/tenant, employment and insurance matters.
Jey received his B.A. degrees from University of Illinois at Chicago in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a minor in Economics and his J.D. from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
